Itinerary

1. 1
   Day 1Fly into the Mara

   Early-morning transfer from your resort to Malindi airport. The flight departs around 08:30 and lands in the park around 11:00, where the game drive begins straight away. Check-in at a lodge right on the river around 12:30 (bring a photocopy of your passport), lunch and rest, then an afternoon safari until sunset. Dinner and overnight.

2. 2
   Day 2Full day in the Maasai Mara

   We set off at first light after breakfast for a full day in the Mara. The reserve is known for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and the migration of wildebeest and zebras from July through August. Lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, hippos in the Mara and Talek rivers, topis, impalas, gazelles and Maasai giraffes. Picnic lunch by the river, more game-driving on the way back, dinner and overnight.

3. 3
   Day 3Game drive & flight back

   After breakfast, a final game drive on the way to the airstrip and the flight back to Malindi, followed by a transfer to your resort. Departure and arrival from Nairobi also possible.
