Blue Safari — Robinson’s Island

Itinerary

   MorningNgomeni salt pans

   Departure at 09:00 from your village towards Malindi and on to Ngomeni, home to vast salt marshes rich in pink shrimp — and therefore large flocks of pink flamingos. We stop for a walk among them.

2. 2
   MiddayRobinson’s Island

   A short drive on to the crossing point, where a boat takes us over to Robinson’s Island (at low tide you can walk across). Relax on the beach or stroll to the local fishing village until lunch is ready: crab, king fish, prawns and rice with octopus sauce, followed by fruit and tea.

3. 3
   AfternoonRelax & return

   Hammocks and sofas await for a lazy afternoon before leaving around 15:00. Back on the mainland by 16:00–16:30 and transfer to your village.
